Warwick and Toby, 2007

Perfect Black Swan is the collaborative music, photography and fiction project of singer/songwriter, producer and writer Toby Burke Hemingway.

Toby first collaborated with Warwick Baker on the experimental instrumental music and photographic project titled 1. Toby recently contributed new music to the latest And Collective anthology, titled A Place Tells A Story.

The book New & Used is Toby and Warwick's latest collaboration.

Perfect Black Swan is now also the new home of Toby's recordings under the band name Horse Stories. The latest record (Horse Stories' 4th) is entitled November, November and the cover features one of Warwick's photographs.

Warwick JP Baker was born in Canberra, Australia in 1983. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Photography at RMIT in Melbourne, where he currently lives. Baker's work has been exhibited in a number of Australian galleries and featured in anthologies, album art and a wide range of publications. New & Used is his first book of photographs.

TB Hemingway was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1976. After completing a Bachelor of Arts in Writing, he moved to Los Angeles, in 1999. He has released multiple albums of his own music (as Toby Burke and Horse Stories). In 2006 TB contributed seven short, short stories to an And Collective anthology. New & Used is his first fiction collection.
